While the electrical infrastructure is very modern in Costa Rica, it
is not uncommon to experience power blips and outages from time to time.
If there is a short power outage, we have plenty of batteries and e-candles so that you can turn these fleeting moments into romantic and memorable ones.
Costa Rica is a geologically active region of the world. It is this activity that makes Costa Rica such a unique place to visit. Hot springs are heated by volcanic and geologic activity, and the rugged landscape has been carved out of the earth by tectonic movement.
The Uvita region experiences a dozen or so earthquakes every day, 99% of them you will not even feel. If you are lucky enough to feel a gentle rumble, know that it is part of a uniquely Costa Rican experience.
The condo is situated in a real natural rainforest. This means you will experience all the jungle has to offer. From unique species of plants and flowers to animals like birds, reptiles and primates like monkeys.
While we encourage you to take photos and enjoy their company, these animals are wild, and you should always respect nature and give it the space it needs. Please do not feed the animals as there is plenty of food in the jungle for them to eat.
